Singapore Botanical Gardens

Singapore lies only 150km above the equator, which makes it a tropical paradise with thick vegetation. The Botanical Gardens here is a Unesco World Heritage Site. It was founded in 1859 and is famous for its Orchid Garden with over 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrid orchids.  It also has an authentic rain forest within the gardens.  It was truly beautiful.

Lush vegetation everywhere

Beautiful flowers everywhere

Beautiful women everywhere

The orchids were spectacularly beautiful and varied

The colours were so vibrant

Everywhere you looked you saw flowers in bloom

The original home of the curator of the Botanical Gardens

So beautiful

Lots of neat sculptures were placed throughout the flowers
